Once upon a time in a deep and darken land
There was a world full of creatures of plants, seas and sands
Simple was their custom, growth everyday
But just a little little, balance, wind, sun and rain
Season would come and go live and die again
The continuum was simple, refresh with weather friend
But as time did pass the world did go around
Around, around, around she went, spinning up and down
And all those simple creatures their thoughts grew and grew
They forgot about the simple, forgot about the true
Heads grew bigger bigger they could could not hold them all
Their questions needed answers the ‘W’s started to call
Who, What, When and Why Became the masters call
and simple changed her outlook, confusion came to call
‘We must know everything, everything and all,
we must store it here and here open to all.
For if we all think the same our unity complete,
no contrast, no argument no-one can compete.
We will all be the same, be part of a global plan,
one culture, one brotherhood, one….’
And so with that it did grow, material did rise,
melting down nature, turning grey skies.
And with the ‘W’s
he did feed the ants again.
On empty minds he filled them up, filled to the brim
He filled them up, he filled again,
again, again he poured, again, again, again, again,
‘Stop, Stop, Stop No more!’
But now the access into the mind was clear,
a never ending flow, a reminder of natures river.
It rained knowledge and answers to all the questions asked
But holding simple numbers could not now be tasked,
So Mirrors he brought in, mirrors to help them see,
but mirrors only gave reflections of who they were promised to be.
‘I am tired’ they called, but supplements they stored
‘Leave me alone’ they cried, ’Shhhhh, you’ll survive’
Simple was lost and forgotten, simple could not see,
blinded by the lights and stuffed with wants and needs.
The promise of greater things, but left with nothing less
Simple started to look, but found no heartbeat in her chest.
Cos Capitalist did capitalise on capitalistic things and Capitalist did promise, he promised everything.
